Shindo – Single Cask #10384 Rum Cask Peated (70cl, 64%)

This is a peated single cask whisky from Shindo Distillery, matured in a rum cask and chosen by Anthelope and AF Trade for Hong Kong and Macau. It is the distillery's first rum cask single cask made for export. The spirit was distilled in June 2022 and bottled in July 2026 after four years, at 64% ABV. Just 72 bottles were filled, each 70cl. The nose is gentle, with raisins and dried fruit and a subtle hint of peat. The palate is waxy, with dried figs, nutmeg and cinnamon from the rum. The finish is smooth, rounded and lingering.
