Shinobu Newborn Single Malt Japanese Whisky (70cl)

Shinobu Newborn is a Japanese single malt in a 70cl bottle, the first release in the Newborn series. It comes from master distiller Ken Usami, who draws on 30 years of artisanal beer-making experience. It makes use of Niigata's snow, rice and sake, known locally as the three white treasures, along with rare Japanese Mizunara oak and malt. The whisky was aged for over a year in Mizunara and first-fill bourbon barrels, then blended by hand. It is described as having purity and aroma, with a clear, robust body.
