Nero d'Avola DOC from Cantina Colosi is a red wine from Sicily. It is deep ruby in colour. On the nose it shows black fruits, blackberry, ripe cherry, sweet spices, vanilla, tobacco and dark chocolate from ageing in barrique. On the palate it is vigorous and full, with balanced tannins and harmonious acidity, ending long and persistent. It suits robust dishes, Sicilian cuisine, aged cheeses and grilled red meats. Serve at 16-18 degrees Celsius.
