A Glenrothes single malt from Signatory Vintage, distilled in 2014 at Rothes in Speyside and matured for 10 years in Oloroso sherry butts. It is Edition #20 in the bottler's 100 Proof series and is bottled at 57.1% ABV, non-chill-filtered and with no added colour.
The nose is full of dried figs, dark raisins, candied orange peel, toasted almonds and cocoa powder. On the palate come stewed plum, dark chocolate, butterscotch, black cherry and cinnamon and clove. The finish is long, with dark fruit syrup, cocoa nibs, citrus oil and dry wood tannins.
