A single malt from Caol Ila, bottled by Silver Seal in 2022 at 15 years old. The whisky was distilled in 2007 and comes from cask 4079, with 255 bottles produced at 54.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle with its original box.
The nose is full of peat smoke, earth and salty seaweed, with dried meat, honey syrup and dried plum sweetness behind. On the palate there is dried fruit with salted caramel and grassy notes over the peat smoke. The finish is warming, with dark chocolate.
