A single cask Linkwood from Speyside, bottled by Silver Seal at 14 years old. The whisky was distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2022 from one sherry cask, at a natural cask strength of 56.8% ABV. The release came to 251 bottles.
The nose offers fresh green fruit, pear, crunchy apple, caramel, honey and plums. On the palate, early sweetness is balanced by plum and some hot spices. The finish is medium to long and warming, with spices, a hint of cardamom and black tea.
