The nose is of sponge, vanilla and butter, with citrus peel, caramel and toffee. The palate has candied sweetness and some nuttiness, followed by salted caramel and spices. The finish is long, with warm spices such as cloves and cinnamon.
With a little water, the citrus grows and sweet mandarin comes forward, together with baked tarts, a touch of minerality and some saltiness.
