This is an 11 year old Caol Ila bottled by Single Cask Nation from a single refill bourbon hogshead. It was bottled at 58.8% ABV, and the cask gave 259 bottles.
The nose combines white chocolate richness with jalapeno skin, green banana, lemon and smoked salt, freshly peated barley and coal dust. On the palate, peated malted barley leads, followed by plenty of salt, peanut skins, lemon curd, orange blossom honey and shortbread.
