Single Cask Nation x PWS Isle of Arran Lochranza 9 Year Old (53.6%)

This is a 9 year old single malt from Arran Distillery in Lochranza, bottled as a collaboration between the independent bottler Single Cask Nation and PWS. It was matured in a single first-fill bourbon barrel and bottled at a natural cask strength of 53.6%, without chill-filtration. The spirit is unpeated and shows the tropical fruit character associated with the distillery. The nose is honeyed malt, fresh-cut grass and sea spray. On the palate come creamy vanilla, baked apples and citrus zest, followed by a persistent finish that is salty and sweet.
