An independent bottling of Linkwood, released by Single Malts of Scotland as Parcel No.8. It was drawn from eight ex-bourbon barrels of whisky distilled in 2010 and aged for a minimum of ten years before marrying. It was bottled in 2022 at 48% ABV, without chill-filtration or added colouring.
The palate turns spicy, with glacé ginger, pepper and baking spice folded through creamy caramel, alongside melon and orchard fruits. The finish is long, with citrus coming through and melon and blossom lingering.
