Singleton of Dufftown 12 Year Old is a single malt from the Dufftown distillery in Speyside, which was established in 1895. The wash ferments for 75 hours, and the pear-shaped stills are said to add power to its fruity character.
The whisky matured for 12 years in Bourbon and Oloroso casks, the latter being European casks that previously held sherry.
It is described as having fruity aromas with touches of gentle spice, and a harmoniously rounded taste.
