Smoke Wagon – Small Batch Bourbon

Smoke Wagon Small Batch is a bourbon first released in the autumn of 2019, made as an everyday bourbon with delicate sweet notes and a rye spice finish. It is not chill-filtered. It is made from a high rye mash bill. The barrels were racked on the top two floors of the warehouse and never rotated, so the heat of summer drives the spirit further into the wood. The result is described as rich and creamy, without harsh tannins. The finish is spicy and nutty, with rye spice following the delicate sweetness.
