This is a wheat whiskey from Sonoma Distilling Company, released as part of its Distiller's Edition series. The mash is 80% wheat, grown in California and Canada, with 20% malted rye grown in the UK.
It was aged for 3 years in used American oak barrels, then finished for about 8 months in Cognac barrels.
The whisky is described as rich and creamy, with a clear rye spice. Stonefruit, toffee and vanilla notes come through from the Cognac barrels.
