Spey 12 Year Old Brume Dorée is a cask strength single malt from Speyside, bottled at 57.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The spirit began with a 120-hour fermentation and a carefully paced distillation. After 12 years of maturation it was finished in custom-made 400-litre French virgin oak casks from Tonnellerie Quintessence. These casks are mist-toasted, a process that draws out the character of the wood gently and keeps the whisky balanced while adding depth and complexity.
