Speyburn – 2008 11 Years Old Blackadder Raw Cask (55%)

This Speyburn is a single cask whisky from the independent bottler Blackadder, released in its Raw Cask Series. It was distilled on 27 August 2008 and bottled in May 2020 at 55%, at 11 years old. Raw Cask bottlings are unfiltered, so a little cask sediment may settle at the bottom of the bottle. It is harmless and part of the whisky's full character. The label marks 25 years of Blackadder, and the bottling was chosen to celebrate that anniversary. 256 bottles were filled.
