A 22 year old Speyside single malt from Thompson Bros, bottled at 54.5% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2021 after maturing in a refill barrel, and 272 bottles were released.
The nose offers peaches, apple peel, tangerine, mint, brioche and fresh herbs. On the palate come vanilla, lightly toasted bread, lager, honey, sweet lemon and grapefruit, with white pepper at the end. The finish is of medium length, fruity and spiced, with a fresh lift and a touch of wood.
