Speyside #4 is a 23 year old Speyside single malt bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company as Batch 12, in a 50cl bottle at 45.7%.
It belongs to the USA Series and was finished in a first fill ex-bourbon barrel from Kentucky. Batch 12 was bottled in an outturn of 399 bottles, without chill-filtering or added colour.
The nose is dried apple and fresh coconut with a little pineapple, buttercream and caramel. The palate joins dried apple and mango juice with barley sugar, a touch of cinnamon and soft spices. The finish is long, sweet and fruity, with coconut returning at the end.
