This is a 12 year old Speyside single malt selected by Berry Bros & Rudd and bottled at 45.3% in a 70cl bottle. It matured for a long period in Oloroso sherry butts, chosen to suit the grainy, fruity style of the spirit.
The whisky has a full, rich texture. Dried fruit, spiced pastry and honey lead, with fine citrus and chocolate notes in the aftertaste.
The nose brings sun-dried fruit and baking spices. On the palate come spiced fruit cake and honey toast, and the finish adds brown sugar, orange and dark chocolate.
