Springbank 10 Year Old is a Campbeltown single malt matured in a combination of Bourbon and Sherry casks. It has a peatiness that is different from that of Islay whiskies.
The nose opens with a lively cereal note, alongside gooseberries, mango, grapes, vanilla and honeycomb.
On the palate, oatmeal and malted barley sit with citrusy orange, heather honey, hard toffee, nutmeg and cinnamon. The finish has a distinctive touch of sea salt.
