This is Springbank 10 Year Old, a single malt from Campbeltown. It was matured in a combination of 60% bourbon casks and 40% sherry casks and filled into bottle on 24 July 2024.
The nose opens with a lively cereal note alongside gooseberries, mango, vanilla pods, grapes and honeycomb.
On the palate the fruit and cereal carry on, with porridge, malted barley and orange pulp, then heather honey, toffee and a little nutmeg and cinnamon. A hint of sea salt rounds it off.
