Springbank 10 Year Old is a Campbeltown single malt, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is made entirely on site at the distillery, from floor malting through to bottling.
The whisky matured in a combination of 60% ex-bourbon and 40% ex-sherry casks.
The nose has a gentle coastal note with damp peat, orchard fruits, orange zest, heather, honey and vanilla. The palate is oily and robust, with pepper, nutmeg and cinnamon alongside orchard fruit, barley malt and earthy peat. The finish brings sweet salted caramel, warm toffee and drying peat.
