Springbank 12 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 14 is a Campbeltown single malt bottled at 54.2% in a 70cl bottle. It was bottled on 23 January 2017 under bottle code 17/16.
The whisky matured in a combination of 70% sherry casks and 30% bourbon casks. Springbank states that it has never chill-filtered its whiskies or used artificial colouring.
The nose offers orange, lemon, woodland aromas and a hint of smoke. The palate is well balanced, with vanilla, pepper and toast. The finish is very soft and slightly salty, with notes of honey and ham.
