Springbank Green is a 12-year-old Campbeltown single malt made with organic barley and matured entirely in bourbon casks. This 2014 edition was bottled at 46% ABV in a run of 9,000 bottles, without chill-filtering or artificial colouring.
The nose is earthy and peaty, with a salty coastal edge. On the palate there are apricots and peaches alongside buttery, creamy, nutty shortbread. The finish is long, soft and complex, with lingering sweetness and salt.
