A 15 year old Campbeltown single malt from Springbank, distilled in 2003 and bottled in 2018 as a limited edition in a 70cl bottle. It was matured entirely in rum casks.
The nose is sweet and tropical, with coconut, pineapple and banana, then toasted marshmallows and sticky toffee pudding, balanced by a hint of peat. On the palate come tropical pavlova, crème brûlée, toffee apple and pecan pie, with citrus yuzu notes and an earthy quality from the dunnage warehouses. The finish turns earthy and dry, and both qualities become more pronounced with water.
