A 22 year old single cask Springbank, distilled in 1993 and bottled by Moon Import to mark its 35th anniversary. It comes from cask #99, with 300 bottles produced.
Moon Import was an Italian independent bottler and importer, founded by Pepi Mongiardino in 1980. It ceased trading in 2015, after thirty-five years in business.
The nose offers pineapple, tropical fruit, mango and molasses. The palate is sweet and a little waxy, with tropical fruit, melon and white peach, and the finish brings melon, vanilla and a touch of smoke.
