Springbank – Local Barley 10 Year Old 2022 (70cl, 51.6%)

This is a 10 year old Springbank single malt from Campbeltown, made from local Belgravia barley grown at Glencraigs Farm. It was distilled in May 2011, matured entirely in ex-bourbon casks and bottled in December 2021 at cask strength, 51.6%, in a 70cl bottle. The release is limited to 15,000 bottles worldwide, with no chill-filtration and no added colour. The nose brings vanilla custard, custard creams and cherry. On the palate the vanilla turns to sweet, creamy sponge fingers with honey and syrup. The finish is light and sweet, with a touch of salted caramel.
