Terence Hill - The Hero (Mild) is a blended whisky from the German distillery St. Kilian, bottled in 2021 at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It has no added colouring and is not chill-filtered.
It combines ex-rum cask character from St. Kilian's own stocks with triple-distilled whiskey from the Great Northern Distillery in Dundalk, Ireland, which matured in American ex-bourbon casks.
The nose is bourbon vanilla and caramelised brown sugar with ripe pineapple and banana. The palate is fruity and sweet, with cream caramel, a little molasses, warming spiced oak and a pinch of cocoa.
