This is a 25 year old Orkney single malt from an undisclosed distillery, released under the name The Allfather as the second chapter of the Northern Legacy trilogy. It was distilled in 2001, matured in a single hogshead and bottled in 2026 at a natural cask strength of 52.5% ABV, unfiltered. The release comprises 202 bottles. The three casks in the trilogy matured side by side. This one takes its name from Odin, a central figure of Norse mythology, and the Unicorn artwork reflects Orkney's Norse heritage. It follows The Longship. Honeyed malt, orchard fruit, maritime freshness, soft smoke and gentle spice sit alongside polished oak.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
