Stauning – Høst Double Malt Whisky (70cl, 40.5%)

Stauning Høst is a Danish double malt whisky made from equal parts malted rye whisky and single malt whisky. It is matured in American oak casks with a touch of port casks. Stauning already makes spicy rye, cask-strength malt, smoky single malt and a complex dark whisky. Høst was created to add a gentle, delicate all-round whisky to that range. It is bottled at 40.5% and can be drunk neat or used in whisky cocktails. The flavour is smooth and balanced, with fruity, delicate notes of vanilla, citrus, honey, caramel, apple and red berries.
