Høst is a Danish whisky from Stauning, bottled at 40.5% in a 70cl bottle. It combines equal parts single malt and rye whisky, made from rye and barley grown locally. The blend matured in American oak casks, with a small share of port casks. The name refers to the harvest, and the profile recalls late summer. It is soft, fruity and floral, and can be sipped neat or over a single ice cube. It has enough body to stand up in classic whisky cocktails.
