Stauning Peated 6th Edition is a Danish whisky distilled in 2012 and bottled in June 2016 at 51.5% ABV, in a 50cl bottle. It was matured in 200-litre first-fill ex-bourbon casks, and five casks went into this bottling. It is not chill-filtered. The colour is pale straw yellow. The nose is lightly smoky, with grain and chocolate. The palate brings smoked chocolate bar, nougat and light molasses, and the finish is very long, with smoke, vanilla and cream caramel.
