Stauning R.Y.E. is a Danish straight rye whisky made from both floor-malted rye and malted barley. It is bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in traditional copper pot stills over open fire, and the casks matured it for three to four years. Floor malting and open-fire distillation together give a distinctive, complex flavour. It contains no artificial colour or flavouring. The rye note is clear, and the whisky has been likened to Danish rye bread in liquid form.
