This is a single cask Danish rye whisky, released for Rombo's 10th anniversary and the first whisky Rombo has put out. It was distilled, matured and bottled at Stauning on the Jutland heath. The spirit was distilled in March 2018 and first matured in American virgin oak, then moved to a former tequila cask to finish. It is bottled at cask strength, 59.3%, in a 70cl bottle. Only 245 bottles were filled, and a few carry numbers above 245 because some numbers were skipped during labelling.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
