A lightly smoked Danish single malt from Stauning, near Skjern on the Jutland heath, bottled at 47% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from West Jutland malting barley, smoked over locally harvested peat and heather. The barley is floor malted, then double distilled in small pot stills over direct fire. Maturation is in first-fill wine and spirit casks. The result is a complex, gently smoky whisky that evokes the dunes, heath and wind of the North Sea coast.
