Stranahan's Rocky Mountain Single Malt Whiskey is made in small batches from malted barley and bottled at 47% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is aged for a minimum of two years in new American white oak barrels, then cut to proof with Rocky Mountain spring water.
The nose combines caramel-butterscotch, vanilla, maple syrup and leather. On the palate come cinnamon butter, vanilla, chocolate, warm caramel and spiced pear, with a creamy, brown sugar sweetness. It finishes with a hint of cayenne, tobacco, oak and aged leather.
