This is a 32-year-old Lowland single grain whisky from Strathclyde, distilled in 1989 and bottled by Cadenhead's at 54.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It comes from a single sherry cask, which gave 324 bottles. Sherried grain whisky is seldom seen. When grain whisky is left to age for a long time, a rich, musky sherry character comes through, and the whisky can taste older than it is.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
