Strathclyde 36 - Thompson Bros. - An Edinburgh Dram (41%)

Strathclyde 36 Year Old comes from the Glasgow distillery of that name and was bottled by Thompson Bros. of Dornoch as An Edinburgh Dram. It is bottled at 41% ABV, without chill filtration and without added colour. The label is a yellow vintage map showing the tram and bus routes of a Scottish city. Ripe banana and vanilla on the nose are lifted by bright citrus. The palate offers juicy peach and plum with a creamy coconut texture. The long finish is carried by the dark sweetness of molasses.
