A 36-year-old single grain Scotch whisky from the Strathclyde distillery in Glasgow, bottled by Thompson Bros. as A Glasgow Dram at 41% in a 70cl bottle. The yellow label carries a historic transport map showing the city's old tram and bus network. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour, so its amber tone is natural. The nose brings toasted banana bread, vanilla pods and Linzer biscuits, with soft citrus, orchard fruit and a winey hint of Gewürztraminer. On the palate come plum syrup and peach liqueur, herbal tea, camphor, sawdust and toasted coconut. The long finish leaves the dark sweetness of molasses, moving towards Cuban rum.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
