Strathenry 2016/2023 6 Year Old Small Batch #2 - Rest & Be Thankful (70cl, 46%)

This Small Batch #2 is an unpeated six-year-old single malt from the InchDairnie Distillery in the Lowlands, selected by Rest & Be Thankful from four casks. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, without chill filtration or colouring. The casks were filled in October 2016 at 63.5% and the whisky was bottled in February 2023. It matured in ex-bourbon casks, then was finished in ex-Oloroso sherry butts. The batch comprises 3,265 bottles. The nose pairs apricot with spice. On the palate, chocolate and nuts meet sherried orange. The finish leaves dark chocolate and cereal notes.
