This is an 11 year old Speyside single malt from Strathmill, distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2024 by Blackadder in a 70cl bottle. It comes from a single bourbon hogshead in the Raw Cask series and is bottled at cask strength.
The nose is fresh, with green apple, pear and white blossom, followed by vanilla, honey and, with time, oak spice and lemon zest. The palate is full-bodied and sweet, with malt sugar, creamy toffee, light dried fruit, cinnamon and white pepper. The finish is long and warming, with sweet and spicy wood, honey and dried fruit.
