Strathmill 12 Year Old is a single malt from the Flora & Fauna series, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The lyne arm used during distillation gives the spirit an oily character. This malt is normally used in blends.
The nose is grassy and malty, with a delicate floral note, clover and orange peel. On the palate it is sweet and fresh, fills the mouth, and brings orange, honeycomb and a touch of mint. The finish turns dry and resinous.
