This is a 15-year-old Speyside single malt from Strathmill, bottled by The Single Cask for its Family Cask Scotch & Tattoo's series. It was distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2023, yielding 130 numbered bottles. The whisky was matured in a single first fill Catoctin Creek rye quarter cask, a smaller cask that speeds the interaction between spirit and wood. It is bottled without chill-filtration or added colour. Tasting notes mention vanilla, caramel, peppery rye spice, toasted oak and orchard fruits.
