Strathmill 28 Year Old is a Speyside single malt distilled in 1996 and bottled in 2025 for Murray McDavid's Mission Gold range. It was first matured in refill bourbon wood, then given an extended finish in hand-selected Saint-Julien red-wine barriques from Bordeaux.
The bottling is 48% ABV, non-chill-filtered and natural in colour, and comes from 516 individually numbered bottles. The wine casks bring cassis and silky tannins alongside the gentle orchard-fruit character of the Strathmill spirit.
