Sullivans Cove – First Generation Standard Release (70cl, 40%)

This is the standard release Sullivans Cove produced after its first decanter release, a single malt from Tasmania in a 70cl bottle at 40% abv. The whisky would have been between two and five years old. It was matured mostly in 300 litre un-charred virgin American oak casks, or in 200 litre American oak ex-bourbon casks. It was made under the brand's original ownership and differs in style and age from current Sullivans Cove, though it was distilled on the same equipment still in use today.
