Sullivans Cove – Old & Rare American Oak Single Cask 16 Year Old (70cl, 47.4%)

Sullivans Cove Old & Rare American Oak is a 16 year old single cask whisky from Tasmania, Australia, in a 70cl bottle at 47.4% ABV. It is matured for a minimum of sixteen years in second-fill American oak that previously held Sullivans Cove whisky. This allows long maturation without the oak overwhelming the spirit, and the fruity esters from the copper Alembic still, Myrtle, come through. Each single cask bottling differs from the next. It is described as showing bright fruit, confectionery and coconut.
