Suntory Royal is a blended Japanese whisky first created in the 1960s, when Yamazaki was the only distillery Suntory operated. This 2022 limited edition marks the tiger, the zodiac animal for that year. The tiger theme runs beyond the label: the bottle itself is shaped like a tiger. Over the years the blend has been reworked several times, with grain whisky later coming from Chita and some malt from Hakushu once those distilleries were built.
