Suntory The Chita is a Japanese single grain whisky bottled at 43% ABV. It comes from the distillery on the Chita peninsula, which specialises in grain whisky.
It is a blend of grain whiskies made from corn and matured in wine, bourbon and sherry casks. The colour is gold and the texture is soft and rich.
The nose offers crème brûlée, cardamom, roses in full bloom and acacia honey. The palate is silky, with intense honey balanced by a touch of mint. The finish is bitter-sweet, with lingering spiced oak.
