The Chita is a Japanese single grain whisky from Suntory, made at the Chita distillery. The distillery was built in 1972 by Keizo Saji and specialises in grain whisky, notably from maize. This bottling is a blend of three distillates and five different whisky profiles. The whiskies are matured in a mix of casks, including European oak that once held wine, ex-bourbon barrels and sherry casks. It is a light, subtle whisky, here in a 70cl bottle.
