Suntory The Chita Single Grain Japanese Whisky (70cl)

Suntory The Chita is a single grain Japanese whisky from the Chita distillery of the House of Suntory in Aichi Prefecture. It is the distillery's main expression, in a 70cl bottle. It is aged in wine casks and Spanish oak sherry casks as well as American white oak bourbon casks, giving a milder grain whisky with some complexity. The colour is bright gold. The nose has creme brulee, cardamom, acacia honey and blossoming rose. The palate is mild and smooth with a hint of mint and deep honey, and the finish is clean, with spiced oak and subtle bittersweet notes.
