This is the third release in the Essence of Suntory series, a Japanese blended whisky at 48% in a 50cl bottle. It was released at the end of 2019 and is labelled Clean Type.
The blend combines Hakushu malt whisky matured in both cedar and white oak casks with grain whisky from the Chita distillery. The whiskies from the cedar-headed casks are believed to have been aged for six years or more.
